Member of Parliament and Shadow Assistant Minister for Western Australia Patrick Gorman as well as Senator Ben Small visited EIT’s campus in Perth on 27 January.
The two politicians did this to show solidarity with the exceptional educational options in Western Australia, but also present EIT with our certificate for winning the category International Education at the 59th Australian Export Awards.

Mr Gorman said the following after his visit to EIT; “Congratulations to the Engineering Institute of Technology, who were recently recognized as the International and Training winner in the 59th Australian Export Awards!"
"I was more than happy to stop by at the Institute to present them with their certificate, and to have a look at some of the amazing work they do,” he continued.
