If you are a secondary school leaver who meets our entry requirements, our 3 year online or on-campus Australian accredited bachelor degrees qualify you as an engineering technologist who can immediately be employed in industry. Or, our undergraduate certificates provide an opportunity to explore a chosen field of engineering through a unique 6 month course. Graduates of our undergraduate certificates who meet our entry requirements can articulate to our bachelor degree programs.
Our Bachelor of Science graduates who wish to become a professional engineer and meet our entry requirements can articulate to our 2 year online or on-campus Master of Engineering programs. Equally, you can trial our master’s programs in your chosen field of engineering by completing a 6 month graduate certificate. Graduates of these courses who meet our entry requirements can articulate to our master’s programs.
Alternatively, our diplomas, advanced diplomas and vocational graduate certificates are designed to help trade qualified professionals take the next step in their career or to formalize the experience of those with extensive work experience. For those who meet our entry requirements, our vocational programs, registered with and regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), provide the opportunity to formalize practical experience via a unique 12, 18 or 24 month course. These courses deliver cutting-edge practical skills and are equally relevant to industry professionals upskilling in particular fields of engineering, or those wishing to formalize their industry experience.
The maximum amount of credit we can approve as a combination of articulated credit (EIT Advanced Diploma) and RPL is 50% for both bachelor’s and master’s courses. The maximum amount of credit provided with only external qualifications and experience is 33%.
Our flagship professional Doctor of Engineering qualification is for engineering professionals looking to contribute to the development of their specific engineering disciplines. Graduates of EIT's Master of Engineering who meet our entry requirements can articulate to our professional Doctor of Engineering. The EIT professional Doctor of Engineering provides professionals in industry who meet our entry requirements the opportunity to solve a problem or develop an improvement to an engineering challenge in their employment.
Finally, our professional development short courses, EIT’s Professional Certificates of Competency, allow industry professionals, irrespective of their level of qualification, opportunities to upskill with evolving specializations in fields of engineering.
